This 8 –day tour explores the best of East Africa with the combination of the capital city of Nairobi and three prime game-viewing reserves.

Stay in intimate, award-winning and luxurious safari camps located on some of the most iconic sanctuaries in Africa – home to the big five game animals, as well as the local Maasai tribes people.

Day 01: Arrival Nairobi International Airport – Nairobi.
Upon arrival at Jommo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by a Galloping Safaris Ltd Customer Care Representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Before checking into the hotel, our representative will brief you on your upcoming safari and introduce you to the driver-guide who will be with you throughout your stay. Drive the short distance to Fairmont The Norfolk Nairobi for overnight-Suite cottage on Bed & Breakfast.
Day 02: Nairobi – Fly to Amboseli in the Shadow of Kilimanjaro – Game drive – Sundowner + Cocktails.
We fly south this morning over the Athi Plains to the natural wonderland of Amboseli National Park. Mount Kilimanjaro, the still-glaciated monarch of Africa, presides over Amboseli, thrusting three dizzying miles above the park’s grasslands. As Peter Matthiessen wrote in The Tree Where Man Was Born, “A snow peak in the tropics draws the heart to a fine shimmering painful point of joy of Mount Kilimanjaro and spectacular landscape. You will arrive in time for lunch at Tortilis Camp. Check in at the camp
Have a short rest before proceeding for an afternoon game drive until dusk. You will be amazed by the amount of wildlife you will view. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
However it is the pure delight and sheer pleasure of luxury tents that will remain with you for years to come, and will keep you returning, if only in spirit, to this delightfully dreamlike lodge. Sunset Hill is the perfect locations to sit atop and enjoy the deep orange sunsets that often welcome in the starry skies. With food and drinks served by one of the staff, this is truly a magical experience not to be missed.
Day 03: Bush Walk – Game drives – Sundowner + Cocktails.
Enjoy an early morning Bush Guided Walk Escorted with an Armed Ranger and returning to your camp for breakfast. The remaining part of the morning is spent at leisure enjoying the lodge facilities. Lunch will be served at the lodge before proceeding to an afternoon game drive as from 1600hrs until dusk.
Amboseli offers spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain; Mount Kilimanjaro, which is situated across the border in Tanzania. Mount Kilimanjaro offers amazing photographic scenery, which is made more exotic with the animals moving on the ground. The park is favorite to many safari goers who want to have an up-close view of free-ranging Elephants, Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Bat Eared Fox, zebra, Giraffe, different types of antelopes among other wild animals as this is the best place to start your safari in Kenya. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Tortilis Camp.
Day 04: Amboseli NP – Arusha – Ngorongoro Highlands.
Early breakfast, mornings go on your final game drive keep your eyes open for any elusive wildlife that you may not have seen, drive to Namangan Border for Customs/Immigration formalities proceed to Arusha in time for a fare well deserved Lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Here you will have a variety of English – African taste meals with soft drinks & juices. After lunch we drive to Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge ready for Sundowner + Cocktails drinks with Barbecue over the Ngorongoro forest highlands. Dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater Africa’s “Garden of Eden”- Sundowner + Cocktails.
Early breakfast and drive the short distance to Ngorongoro Loduare gate and today you will explore today you will explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Drive back to Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge ready for Sundowner + Cocktails drinks with Barbecue over the Ngorongoro forest highlands. Dinner and overnight.
Day 06: Olduvai George – Maasai Village Cultural – Serengeti to see Big Cats & Large Mammals.
Breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. A brief visit en route to Olduvai Gorge, which is often referred to as ‘The Cradle of Mankind’ and is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world.
Stop at Land of the Maasai—the iconic pastoralists of the East African savanna, known for their scarlet robes, their beadwork, and their legendary ceremonies. Pay a visit to a Maasai Manyatta, or village, where we’ll be greeted with a foot-stomping, high-jumping welcome dance. Immerse yourself in their world, learning about their customs. Meet the village elders, visit homes, and take part in a memorable cultural exchange.
Picnic lunch in the park. Proceed to Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Pioneer Camp.
Day 07: Central Serengeti to see Mammals & Big cats – Sundowner + Cocktails.
06h00 Begin your sunrise safaris and return for late breakfast at 09h00. Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park gets its name from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning endless Plain.
The Serengeti is located along the rift valley and is abound with geological formations. One of Serengeti’s defining features are its Kopjes pronounced copy, a feature of continual weathering.
These islands in the sea of grass are formed as the top soil comprising of rock and ash is eroded exposing the covered layer of metamorphic rock. These exposed rock forms “kopjes” are round as a result of spherical wind weathering. The national park covers an area of 14800 square kilometers most of which is grass plains. These rich grass plains a result of ash deposited by volcanic eruptions, and is home to 3 million animals. Within these grass plains the scattered kopjes act as a heaven for animals from grass fires, predators and the heat. The game drives in this park are exceptional and game viewing incredible. This park offers the best opportunity of viewing Cheetah, Leopards and Lions. Return for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Pioneer Camp.
Day 08: Seronera Airstrip – Fly to Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport – Departure.
Early start today for an early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light or breakfast at the lodge, and morning go on your final game drive in Big & Small Marsh Plains. Keep your eyes open for any elusive wildlife that you may not have seen, transfer to Seronera Airstrip in time for Check in (Luggage free weight each person is 33 LBS & 11 LBS on Hand bag), and Schedule flight to Arusha Airport. REGIONAL AIR flights depart Seronera Airstrip at 11: 00 AM and arrive at Arusha Airport at 12: 15 PM.
On your arrival at Arusha Airport you will be Meet and greet with your Host Walter and his team and we drive the short distance for a fare well deserved Lunch at BUTTER & SCOTCH SABLE SQUIRE. Here you will have a variety of English – African taste meals with soft drinks & juices. After lunch we transfer back you to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for check in for departure flight.
