3 Days Safari Serengeti Package
Our 3-day will take you to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park safari packages were designed to offer visitors, with a time constraint, a short but a very intense Tanzanian Northern Circuit wildlife safari experience. You will experience the excitement of an African wildlife safari, or even a photographic safari in two of the most spectacular national game parks in Tanzania.
This unforgettable Tanzania safari will take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment and the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world, teeming with animals. The size of both the selected Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater national parks, make them a perfect choice for our shorter safaris, or a photographic safari.
Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti
After breakfast, you will be picked up by one of our driver at around 0700am and proceed to the lush crater uplands, where the fertile soil allows crops such as wheat, corn, and coffee to grow. You will have lunch at a picnic spot before you slowly drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way, you will pass the Olduvai Gorge where the English couple, Louis and Mary Leak, pioneered archaeological excavation work. In the sixties, some of the earliest archaeological deposits of human evolution were found here and a small museum (visit optional) reports these discoveries. The name “Serengeti” origins from the Masai word “Siringitu” and means “endless plains”. You can see why the Masai gave this region this name as the grassland Savannah stretches to the horizon in the South and is only interrupted by the so-called Kopjes (inselbergsIn the afternoon, The park contains vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other antelopes. Other common species found here includes hippo, giraffe, eland, impala and other antelope types, baboons, monkey and a profusion of over 500 species of birds.
